Bruce Newcomb, DDS
Dr. Bruce Newcomb was born
and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. After graduating from Twin Falls High School,
he attended Willamette College for one year, then transferred to the College
of Idaho, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors. He
went on to dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry, where
he also graduated with honors. Dr. Newcomb did his endodontic residency
at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Newcomb loves living in the Boise Valley with his wife Julie, and their
three children. He gives back to the Boise community by being involved with
Ducks Unlimited and the Lion's Club. Dr. Newcomb is a member of the Southwest
District Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Hilary Dunstan, DDS
Dr. Hilary Dunstan was born
and raised in Boise, ID and has practiced endodontics in Boise since 2006.
She attended Boise High School and then earned her Bachelor’s Degree with
honors from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington in 1998. She completed
her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Creighton University in Omaha,
Nebraska in 2003. Dr. Dunstan graduated from Creighton with honors and also
received numerous awards upon graduation including Student Achievement Award
in Endodontics, recognition by the American Association of Women Dentists,
and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society. She then attended
the University of Southern California and completed a one year program in
Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Dunstan attended the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky
for specialty endodontic training. There she received training in the latest
techniques and technology including use of the operating microscope and
digital radiography. Upon completion of the program in 2006 Dr. Dunstan
was awarded both a Certificate in Endodontics as well as a Masters in Oral
Biology.
Dr. Dunstan was thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Idaho to practice
and raise a family. She spends most of her free time with her husband, Brian,
a general dentist at the Boise VA, and her daughter Gwendalyn and son Zane.
They can often be found on the ski slopes in winter or cycling one of the
many trails in the foothills during the summer.
